Custom orders need at least 2 weeks' notice and are accepted based on availability. Popular weekends and holidays fill quickly. Some items may be available sooner; just ask! Rush orders may be accepted based on availability (a $25 rush fee may apply).
Pickup is by scheduled appointment only in Satsuma, Alabama. Most orders are placed in the refrigerated pickup cooler on my front porch. If your order is too large or the cooler is full, I'll let you know in advance and pickup will be at the bakery side door. Scheduled pickups are available until 8:00 PM.
Cash, Cash App, Venmo and PayPal. Credit and debit cards accepted. Alabama sales tax (10%) is added. Orders more than 7 days out require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due 1 week before pickup; orders within 7 days are paid in full at booking.

I am the owner of Jana's Cakes and Bakes. I am originally from the North Metro Atlanta, Georgia area. I am married with 3 young children, and my husband is a retired Army Veteran. We moved to Saraland, AL in October 2020 and then to Satsuma, AL in 2021. I officially began baking for the public in February of 2023 and have not looked back.
My goal is to make ordering as simple and stress-free as possible. If you don't see exactly what you're looking for, feel free to submit a custom order request.
My products are prepared in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Alabama Department of Public Health and may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. Gluten-free items are available upon request, but this is not a dedicated gluten-free bakery and cross-contact cannot be guaranteed. If you have celiac disease or a severe allergy, please contact me before ordering.
